At King James Bible Church we take holy communion very serious. Alongside baptism, communion is a very vital part of our Christian faith. The churches of today, unfortunately, have lost the importance of communion and it has become nothing more than a 10 minute ritual. Our communion service averages around 45 minutes. There are over 200 scripture references quoted. Communion was designed by the Lord to be a type of marriage proposal. The church is the bride of Christ. During a Galilean marriage proposal the groom to be would offer the bride to be a cup of wine. If she accepted it and drank from the cup, then she accepted the marriage proposal from the groom. If she rejected the cup then the marriage would not take place. So at each communion service Jesus Christ is offering us to drink from the cup and accept his marriage to us. So, if we don’t participate in the communion then we are rejecting the Lord Jesus Christ. And God forbid that we would ever do that. So as I stated at the beginning, holy communion is a very important and serious part of our walk with the Lord. Below, are a few pictures of our communion services
1 Corinthians 11:26, “For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.”
