Are you a FOLLOWER of Christ or are you an IMITATOR of Christ. The term imitate means to counterfeit or copy something to look like the original or to pass ones self off as the genuine thing hence where we get our English term “copycat” from. The word “follow” has been replaced by ALL new Bible perversions with the term “imitate” in 1 Corinthians 11:1 thus perverting the meaning of the passage. The passage reads in the KJV as follows “Be ye FOLLOWERS of me , even as I also am of Christ”. However in all the new perversions they change the term “follower” to read as “Imitate” (which is what Satan does)a very subtle difference and one that makes Paul say something he never would have said. Satan is the great IMITATOR and has always tried to pass himself off as Christ by imitating Him!!(2 Corinthians 11:14-15) You are told in your Bible to FOLLOW Christ not imitate Him!!(Matthew 4:19;8:22;9:9;19:21;Mark 2:14; Luke 5:27; John 12:26;Revelation 14:4). To imitate is to counterfeit and believe me we got enough of that kind of thing going on in the churches today…a bunch of cheap imitations of the real thing!!!
