1.    Before going out always start with prayer.

2.    Always use a King James Bible that is marked with soul winning verses.

3.    Keep a good supply of tracts that make the plan of Salvation clear. Examples: Fellowship Tract League and Chick Tracts.

4.    Presenting the plan of Salvation (long version):

A.   Everyone is a sinner (Romans 3:23, 3:10, Ecclesiastes 7:20)

B.    The penalty of sin (Ezekiel 18:4, Romans 6:23)

C.   What happens to lost sinners (Hebrews 9:27, Revelation 20:15)

D.   God’s solution (John 3:16, 6:37, Romans 5:8, 10:8-13, 2 Peter 3:96)

E.    Sinners Prayer (You need to memorize a version of The Sinners Prayer)

5.    Presenting the Plan of Salvation (Short Version) Romans Road

A.   Show him/her they are a sinner (Romans 3:10, 3:23)

B.    Show him/her the price of sin (Romans 5:12, 6:23)

C.   Show him/her that Jesus paid the price (Romans 5:8, 10:8-13)

D.   Ask him/her if you can pray with them. Have them pray The Sinners Prayer with you.

6.    Have them write down the date they trusted in Jesus Christ and you also write it down in a notebook and keep record of it.

Sinners Prayer

Version 1

Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed his precious blood and died on the cross to pay for my sin. I am willing to turn from my sin and put my faith and trust in the Saviour. I now invite Jesus Christ to come into my heart and life and sae me from my sin and be my personal Saviour. By faith I receive Jesus Christ and by faith I AM SAVED!

Version 2

Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and unless you save me I am lost forever. I now come to you the best way I know how and ask you to save me. I receive you as my savior and trust you to forgive me and justify me and present me without fault before God’s throne in the Day of Judgment. Amen.

After they have trusted Christ as their Saviour:

1.    Make sure they have a KJV Bible. If they don’t have one, let us know and we will get them one. Tell them to start reading the N.T. starting with the Gospel of John.

2.    Get Baptized as a Public Affirmation of their Faith. We can do this if they are local.

3.    Get involved in a KJV Bible believing church. Example, ours!

Note: If you are out of town research churches in that area and direct him/her to one you trust will be doctrinally true. Contact the Pastor of that church and let him know what you are doing and if you win someone you will be contacting him. If he/she already belong to a Bible believing church have them go to the church and make a public affirmation of their decision. You also need to stay in touch with him/her to keep them encouraged in their walk with God.
