I used to believe that there is nothing above the Name of Jesus Christ. I mean after all does not the Word tell us that “Wherefore God hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:”.. But then I researched a little deeper and found that there is actually one thing that is above the name of Jesus! What is it? HIS WORD!! Psalm 138:2 tells us in the later part of the verse “for thou hast magnified thy word ABOVE ALL thy name.” So we see His Word is Above His Name! Why? Because without His Word we would not know His Name so the revealer of truth has to be above that which is revealed. Now don’t get me wrong there is no other name above Jesus precious Name! Nothing else goes above that Name. Just a little thought I wanted to share!
