Today I want to examine a O.T. prophecy that has again been perverted in every new Bible on the market including the so called New King James with all its copyrights etc! The passage I want to turn your attention to is Zechariah 13:6. Lets read it out of our trusted King James Bible first shall we…”and one shall say unto him,What are these wounds in thine HANDS?(emphasis added) Then he shall answer,those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.” Now lets see how the “New” and “Improved” version perverts it. “And one will say to him, ‘what are these wounds between your ARMS?’….”NKJV. Now keep in mind these Bible perverters claim that all they were doing is updating the “archaic” language of your King James Bible but as you can see there is a more sinister plan at work here. They completely take out the reference to Christ wounds in his HANDS. Why any Christian would recommend this subtle counterfeit is beyond my understanding!
